Soonzed

Snoozing my reality, scrolling my life away,

Double tap for my love or roll my eyes on disgust,

Looking for escapes as my reality crumbles in front of my eyes,

And the child in me dreams of conquering thousand miles,

Hoping to find some respite under someone’s shade,but my heart

Reckons as this too seen as disgrace,

Freedom of expression for me is name sake as the fear of judgment 

Pondering deep in my heart affects every decision I take,

Feed me with fables of joy and tell me about ways to escape but don’t tell me about fairy tales.
